We are looking for new full-time and part-time team members to join our kitchen (BOH) and service teams (FOH). Don't miss this great opportunity to become a part of our core team*.

 

 

1. Baker / Pastry Cook

Job description:

  • Must have experience with kneading, rolling, cutting, and shaping multiple types of dough and phyllo dough

  • Prepare, mixing and cook ingredients according to instructions

  • Working knowledge of knife skills

  • Operate cooking, baking, or other food preparation equipment such as oven, mixer, etc

  • Pack, wrap, store finished products.

  • Comply with all safety and sanitation rules and procedures (We cater for kids' events, so you must be extra careful with dietary restrictions and sanitation rules).

  • Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

  • Lift and/or move regularly up to 60 pounds

  • Experience with cake decoration and custom cakes is a plus

  • Having a valid drivers license is a plus

 

 

2. Breakfast / Line Cook

Job description:

  • Prepare breakfast and brunch items

  • Fry, sauté, bakes or otherwise cook menu items.

  • Operate standard commercial kitchen equipment.

  • Follow the food allergy procedure and special customer orders/restrictions.

  • Comply with all safety and sanitation rules and procedures (We cater for kids' events, so you must be extra careful with dietary restrictions and sanitation rules).

  • Other duties will be assigned as needed

Must-to-have skills:

  • Have a min of 2 years of experience in a high volume kitchen, experience in breakfast & brunch items

  • Have excellent knife skills

  • Be reliable, punctual and able to work assigned schedule that includes weekends

  • Lift and/or move regularly up to 60 pounds

  • Having a valid drivers license is a plus

 

3. Catering / Wholesale Sales
Job description:

  • Create and present a sales plan to develop new catering and wholesale customers

  • Increase sales to coffee shops, restaurants, and other wholesale customers

  • Develop relationships with and bring samples to potential catering and wholesale customers

  • Cooperate with the store manager to create pricing and menu plans for catering and wholesale customers

  • Make cold calls to and stop by potential wholesale customers to build sales

  • Prepare and submit bi-monthly sales activity reports to the store manager 

  • Prepare and send bi-monthly marketing emails

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have proven sales  and communication skills

  • Sales experience with restaurants, coffee shops, institutions and wholesale customers preferred

  • Ability to work well independently and as a team member

  • Prior experience managing social media accounts (esp. Yelp) and websites are a plus

  • Existing client contacts and relationships a plus but not required

 

 

*The right candidates must (1)have a work permit in the U.S., (2)undergo background check, (3)have at least 1 year of work experience relevant to the position they are applying for, (4)be available during weekends.
